More free resources

Here is another website that has links to a whole lot of freeware as well as some great links for various topics.
www.aussieeducator.org.au
Use the navigation bar on the left to access relevant resources and information relating to your subject. This is a great place to start when looking for some great new websites and free downloadable programs.

Free PowerPoints

Another useful site I have found is www.worldofteaching.com
This site contains loads of free downloadable PowerPoints that you can easily adapt to suit your needs.

Using ICT- the lazy way :-)

One of my favourite ways of using ICT in the classroom is to set webquests. An even better way is to find one that has already been created and modify it for your own class - this form of learning is very easy to differentiate. Try looking at -
http://webquest.org/index.php
or just google your subject/topic name with webquest.

Jamie McKenzie

I thought I had better start writing a blog! Today I am at Jamie McKenzie who is talking about the use of ICT to improve student learning.
He has a great website - fno.org which has lots of great resources. One particularly good article can be found at http://fno.org/nov08/attention.html - check it out.
